It is strongly recommended to perform a test application on a small area before full use to assess performance, finish, coverage, and the suitability of the application method. Allow the test area to dry for 5–7 days before evaluating the results.

Blocmate® CORE 100™ should only be applied to concrete that is in good condition and free from underlying structural issues. If the concrete is damaged, cracked, or deteriorated, the product may not perform effectively and is not recommended as a remedy for structural defects.

Use a microfiber mop for smooth, flat horizontal surfaces to ensure even coverage and proper penetration.
For vertical or textured areas, a roller is recommended.
Use a brush for small, detailed sections such as corners, edges, or rough, and uneven areas.
For faster work on wide, vertical, or horizontal surfaces, use a low-pressure sprayer with a coarse tip. Avoid fine mist nozzles. -
This solution may damage clothing, glass, tiles, vinyl, and other sensitive surfaces. In case of accidental contact—especially on glass—rinse immediately with clean water before the product dries. Wear appropriate protective gear, including a face mask, rubber gloves, and safety glasses. Avoid wearing watches or jewelry, as the product may also damage metal surfaces.

Apply only under good weather conditions. Ensure the surface is clean and dry, then apply the product evenly using a microfiber mop, roller, sprayer, or brush.
First Coating / Horizontal Surfaces
Saturate the concrete surface with the sealer and spread it evenly using a microfiber mop or other suitable applicator. Redistribute any excess product to drier areas to avoid puddling.
The amount of sealer needed will depend on the porosity and absorbency of the concrete.
If the surface absorbs or dries the sealer within a few seconds, reapply as needed until it remains evenly and visibly wet for at least 5–10 minutes. This will be considered the first coating. Allow each coat to fully penetrate and dry for at least 2 hours before applying the next coating. For optimal performance, apply up to three (3) coats, or until water no longer readily penetrates the surface. Expect less absorption on the second and third coatings, as the surface becomes denser and less porous with each application. After application, protect the treated area from water, foot traffic, or heavy loads for at least 24 hours.
Application Tips
• Vertical Surfaces
Apply the sealer using a low-pressure sprayer or roller to fully saturate the surface. Ensure the surface is evenly wet, but avoid overapplication that may cause drips or runs. Use a brush or roller to smooth out any excess product immediately.
• For Exposed Areas
Avoid application if rain is expected within 12 hours. After application, protect surfaces with plastic sheeting or a tarp to prevent wash-off. If rain occurs before the product cures, allow the surface to dry completely, check for uneven areas, and reapply if necessary.

Ensure the concrete surface is clean, completely dry, and free of dust or debris before application.
Application Timing
• For best results, apply the sealer after grinding with 200–400 grit resin pads
• You may apply up to 3 coats, either in one session or gradually as polishing progresses
• Allow each coat to penetrate and dry for at least 2 hours before applying the next
Performance Notes
• A higher level of finish can be achieved by using finer polishing or burnishing pads
• Suitable for both dry and wet polishing systems
Surface-Specific Recommendations
• Dense or well-trowelled concrete may only require a single coat
• Highly porous concrete may need additional coats to ensure full densification
Final Finish Tip
• If white crystalline deposits appear after the final coat, it is likely a sign of overapplication. Once the surface has fully dried, simply wipe the deposits away using a damp cloth or mop.
• If the deposits persist, especially on polished surfaces, you may refinish the surface by lightly re-polishing or buffing with a fine-grit pad to restore clarity and uniformity.
• For added protection, we recommend applying Blocmate® CORE 500™ Penetrating Hydrophobic Sealer as a surface finishing treatment. This complementary product enhances water repellency by up to 90% while allowing the concrete to remain breathable.

Store the product in a cool and dry area. Keep the container tightly closed to prevent evaporation and drying of the solution. This can be stored for more than a year. Just mix well before using again.
